Nordmann expands the partnership with Ergon International
Multinational chemical distributor Nordmann has taken a new step in its partnership with Ergon International Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of naphthenic process and base oils. As of February 1, Nordmann has consolidated the distributing activities across the Baltic States, Benelux, the DACH region, France, the Nordic countries, Serbia, Spain and the UK*.

Factice – once a rubber substitute, now a functional additive based on renewable raw materials
In the first half of the 19th century, factice was developed at almost the same time as vulcanization was discovered – and because rubber was so expensive then, factice served as a cheap alternative. The French term for this rubber substitute – “caoutchouc factice” – is what gave the product its name in 1858. Following years of technological advancements, factice is now being used more as a processing aid.

New partnership with Condensia
Multinational chemical distributor Nordmann is now partnering with Condensia, a renowned Spanish manufacturer of specialty esters, polyesters and polyester-polyols. Nordmann will be handling the distribution of Condensia’s specialty esters and additives for the rubber, adhesives and plastics industries throughout several European countries*.
