Gabriele Henke Appointed as New Managing Director
of Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH in Hamburg

Hamburg, February 11, 2008. – Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH (NRC) is pleased to announce today that the company has come up with an internal succession regulation for Managing Director Wolfgang Nagel: Starting on April 1, 2008 Gabriele Henke (56) will become Managing Director of Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH with its principal place of business in Hamburg. At the same time Dr. Ulla Seidel-Wiese (48) will take over Gabriele Henke’s previous position within the company, management of the Business Unit of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals as well as Food Additives and Raw Materials.  
Simultaneously she will receive the power of procuration.

Wolfgang Nagel (59) will withdraw from management of NRC as of June 30, 2008 and will become a member of the Managing Board of Georg Nordmann Holding Aktiengesellschaft. Edgar E. Nordmann will continue to serve the company as part of NRC management.

We shall continue to have recourse to his thoroughgoing experi-ence and expertise as a member of the Managing Board of our Holding Company. This will not only benefit NRC, but the other enterprises consolidated in the Holding Company as well.
Gabriele Henke will take over management of NRC as a flourishing, expanding enterprise. Together with her we look forward to a promising future for which we, as a mo-dern and service-oriented chemical sales company, are exceptionally well-equipped.” 

In December 2008 Gabriele Henke will celebrate twenty-five years of service at NRC. Following employment with the Akzo Group, she began in sales and product manage-ment at the cosmetics division of NRC. In 1997 she took over management of the cos-metics division and has the power of procuration since then. Since 2001 she has man-aged the entire corporate division of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals as well as Food Addi-tives and Raw Materials.
